Touch Makeup Academy has been in the field of makeup education for over a decade. We pride ourselves for creating an exciting knowledge packed experience for our students.
T.M.A. is now hiring self motivated individuals that are talented in mentoring, coaching and encouraging aspiring makeup artists and or makeup enthusiasts with our school's curriculum in a classroom setting.
Position Duties:

Creates and administers course curriculum for Touch Makeup Academy, creating a fun, active classroom environment while also directly contributing to lesson plans, learning material and training visuals.

Creates specialized activities to help boost learning retention.

Participates in the purchasing of course materials and products.

Contributes to media produced from and for the course including images and video.

Maintains school equipment, products and learning materials.

Motivates, mentors, and coaches student artists to becoming professional Makeup Artists according to Touch Makeup Academy standards.

Maintains academy classroom learning and professional expertise by remaining current with industry trends, qualifications and standards.

Tracks and maintains attendance records.

Teachers may be asked to perform other tasks as needed that do not appear on this job description.
Skills Needed for This Position:

Be proficient in the technical areas of makeup (as determined by position).

Illustrate the basics of the field in which you are Certified or skilled.

Have strong communication skills.

Have a strong work ethic.
Qualifications:

Possesses a current makeup certification

3+ years of professional makeup experiences

Posses a portfolio of unedited images of your work
Work Location: Headquarters - Downtown Houston
Work Environment: Primarily indoor environment. This position requires frequent sitting, standing, bending, walking, repetitive motion, and vision to monitor.
Job Types: Free lance / contractor
Pay: $DOE per scheduled set of courses
Schedule: 5 to 8 hour shift (as determined by class schedule)
Experience: Makeup 5 -10 years (Preferred)
Certification: Preferred
